trade | tong turbo's dyno figure for hybrid 15th of June 2008 Tong turbo's has just released a dynograph for their hybrid. Michaels ep82 gt turbo made just under 214BHP @ the flywheel and 196lb/ft torque running 1BAR of boost. as far as im aware this is the highest recorded on the current crop of hybrids out there at this pressure.
the car was mapped by Paul Hills @ Engine Advantages in Witham and is a cracking result for Tong turbo's. michael commented "214BHP was at 1BAR, it did make 221BHP at 1.2BAR but my injectors need up rating so the tuner turned it back down to 1BAR. I am very happy and very impressed, i would recommend these turbo's to anybody". look out for dyno figures from toy tuning and speedvision in the near future. He decided to do the whole bodywork matt black. He also managed to source the rear wing from the infamous bodywork spl lancer/starlet hybrid, that along with the H.R.F body parts, canards, roof scoop and hardcore hoopage ad up to an ep that's is in a class of its own and probably the most respected starlet build currently going on anywhere in the uk. As you can see from the pictures the car has come a long way and screams hardcore!
