Trade | Toy tuning uprated driveshafts, cv's and hubs 16th of July 2008

Toby at Toy tuning is constantly adding to his very impressive line up of parts for the Ep crowd. His newest offering are these uprated billet driveshafts.
Each kit consists of:

  • 2 x 4340 Chromoly Billet Driveshafts
  • 2 x Inner CV's with 300mm Splines and Billet Housings
  • 2 x Outer CV's 40% Larger than Stock to Withstand Aggressive Launches
  • 2 x Billet hubs to Accommodate Larger CV Splines
  • 8 x ARP Longer Racing Studs (12x1.5)

These are rated to 500BHP and will withstand aggressive launches using full slicks meaning you can finally extract the full potential of your Starlet on the quarter mile/circuit. Even if you are running lower power these make a good alternative to the OEM shafts offering a complete replacement for little more than Toyota charge for full shafts.

Recreational | a delve into the world of ZEP & JAM HQ 7th of July 2008

Troy a member from our sister australian club was in Japan recently. during his time there with his girlfriend he was lucky enough to visit Zep racing and Jam racing on his travels. they both operate from industrial work units. quite amazing to believe for company's of this stature to us. Jam is operated by two guys and Zep just one. They were only too happy to show Troy around and talk starlets. The guys at Jam are developing a new demo car.(blue ep pictured) its allot lighter than before and they are taking their time with it. The white Ep82 is a customers car getting a 5E transplant and K1-200v turbo upgrade . It ran 235 semi slicks all around with hand flared standard guards. Also can you spot there demo. Capable of a 1.02 round Tsukuba.
Thanx for sharing Troy.
