Nighghtspirits track star is finaly nearing completion. At 1.2 bar of boost on a very clean map the car made 203hp at the wheels and 170lb/ft, not too shabby for a first session. They called it a day after mapping it to the limit of the current injectors (98%) so a set of 550cc's are needed...those should, in theory push the power to 230~ whp and allow the boost to run around 1.6bar which should then see the car making around 300 whp.

Even at the current tune it's still got a power to weight of 317 hp per tonne....that puts the car above a 911 turbo!! (272 p/t)

uksc aims hi for a meets weekend to be held in the second week of febuary starting on the 8th with a night out on the lash in england to a rollingroad day and meet on the 9th for english ep riders and on the 10th scotland will have their first meet of the year to log your interest please check the threds bellow.

ever increasing their stangle hold on the ep market toytuning have just launched their own brand of hybrid ct9 turbo for the starlet comunity. it is a proper hybrid in the true sense of the word. The hybrid is still unproven but i have been assured of some dyno graphs soon. should make an interesting comparision between this and tong turbos offering.

the manfolds are of an interesting design and can be made in eather 304 stainless steal or mild steel and retail for £300 delivered to your door. They have a constant supply of zep decats which they modify by bracing which ads to piece of mind. the helpfull guys at zisco will also weld in bungs for egt and af gauges.

toytuning the purvayer of all things ep related bring to you another special car from over japanr. one of cruse powers recent development tools is being sold to the public to generate funds for more projects. roughly £30,000 has been spent on making this car the beast that it is today.

the specs read like a wish list with alot of choice rare and expensive cruise-power parts. the engine is fully forged and its running a gredy tdo4h turbo. Toby at ToyTuning can inport the car landed on your doorstep for the sum of £15.000 which might be steap but represents good value for a car of this spec. I know if i had the cash id love to own this true jdm ep racer.

trade | tong turbos release newest version of hybrid 1st of january 2008

tongs turbos have come into the market with a 3rd revision of gt spec hybrid. the hybrid uses a garrat gt type compressor wheel thats of a more efficient design over the ct20 compresso wheel used previuslyr. incidently 221bhp was the highest recorded on a g-spec hybrid. they are hoping to get 225+bhp with the use of the new component. whatch this space for dynographs and il also give my overal opinion as one has found its way into my car. to find out more check here
