Important Information Regarding the Use of the Classifieds Section.

We are all well aware that there are people with dishonest intentions that might want to trade/sell their wares on this forum.
Because of this we should inform you of a few decent facts to bear in mind when purchasing that should at best safeguard your cash from being swindled by a fraudster.

Compulsory Rules to Seller.
On this forum it is mandatory and your responsibility to make your advert as descriptive as possible. A picture can tell a thousand words.
The more pictures posted to aid describing one item the better.
Warning! It is compulsory to take multiple detailed photos of the item.
This is for the customer so they can gain an idea of item condition. Failure to add photos of the right descriptive quality will result in the advert being deleted, (Sorry, but this also means no “I'll post pictures when I find my camera lead" or anything to that effect).
Within this forum you are allowed to upload pictures of your products using our online upload feature at the bottom of the post box.

You MUST state a price in your advert! Failure to do so will result in the thread being deleted immediately, no questions asked. You have been warned.

To the Buyer.
When purchasing a product there are certain safeguards you should take to protect your cash. For a start, don’t let your judgement be clouded at the thought of your new purchase. Take your time to get the relevant info from the seller.

Buyers and sellers should agree the terms of the sale before money exchanges hands. This means the item's condition is certain, the delivery methods and insurance are arranged and the time scale involved is agreed.
Also, to backup contact details (home landline numbers and addresses) would be advisable too.
For the sake of ten minutes you can save weeks and months of worry and uncertainty.


It is strongly advised to only use PayPal as the sole method of payment (no bank transfers) and never send your item over as a gift. Paying the 4% goes someway to covering yourself from losing it all.
Also, when sending over a payment with PayPal, utilise the message box to it's fullest, describing the sale in as much detail as possible (what's being bought, the item condition and the price, delivery details etc) that way, in the event of having to make a claim, PayPal can have more of an idea what the claim is about.

Local sales are also preferred.

When posting your For Sale advert, please make sure you fill in every default field highlighted in the post box accurately.
